🔥Plunder Hell, Populate Heaven: The Reason Behind Every List

By (danielziedins.com)

Why a productivity app writes about eternity — and how to partner with Daniel & Katie Ziedins and e3 Canada to equip believers and reach cities for Jesus.

Jesus once asked a question that sounds more like a raid plan than a sermon: “How can one enter into a strong man’s house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house” (Matthew 12:29, KJV).

He wasn’t describing a burglary. He was describing His mission. The strong man is bound. The house is open. And the “goods” being carried out are people — sons and daughters who were never meant to stay in that house.

The late evangelist Reinhard Bonnke put it in five unforgettable words that have stirred a generation of believers: plunder hell, populate heaven. This post is about why that phrase sits underneath everything we build at TaskSimply — and how you can be part of it.

Why is a productivity app writing about eternity?

TaskSimply exists to keep life simple, productive and focused in a world full of distraction. But focus is never the point on its own. You can be wonderfully organized and pointed at nothing that lasts.

Scripture tells us to be “redeeming the time, because the days are evil” (Ephesians 5:16). A redeemed calendar isn’t just a tidy one — it’s one that has room for what God is doing. The grocery list, the budget, the weekly review: all of it is stewardship that frees up a life to say yes when the Holy Spirit taps on the shoulder.

The most important list you will ever keep isn’t your to-do list. It’s the names of the people God has placed around you.

If you haven’t already, read Write Down the Names. It’s the practical starting point for everything below.

The story behind the story

TaskSimply was built by Daniel Ziedins — and long before there was an app, there was a street corner in Hamilton, Ontario.

For more than a decade, Daniel and Katie Ziedins have carried a simple conviction: evangelism isn’t an event, it’s a way of life. What began as weekly street evangelism and practical care for Hamilton’s homeless community grew into more than twenty weekly outreach teams — and Love on The World was born to carry that same love into more cities.

Along the way came Sunday evening gatherings where the Holy Spirit is given full permission to move, with salvations, healings and baptisms following. And every year, thousands gather in Hamilton for the Jesus Festival — a free, family-friendly weekend of worship and Gospel hope for the city.

Daniel and Katie call the heart behind it all Love Overflow: love God, love people, and let it spill over into every street, campus, hospital and festival ground He opens. You can see the full journey at KD-Ziedins.com.

Equip, go, multiply — with e3 Canada

One person reaching one city is a beautiful thing. One person equipping a hundred people who each reach their city is how the Great Commission was always meant to work.

That is why Daniel and Katie joined forces with e3 Canada and I Am Second — to equip believers to evangelize and to establish multiplying, life-changing churches. Their model is simple enough to remember and strong enough to change a nation:

  • Equip. Train believers and churches with practical, biblical tools to share their faith with confidence.
  • Go. Take it to the streets — moving from theory to lived-out, Spirit-led evangelism.
  • Multiply. Disciples make disciples, and churches become sending hubs.

Paul gave Timothy the same pattern: “the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also” (2 Timothy 2:2). That one verse holds four generations of disciples. That is the math of heaven — not addition, but multiplication.

The newest front is a bold one: helping to establish 100 multiplying outreach groups, anywhere and everywhere in the world — ordinary believers, equipped and sent to bring the Gospel and practical love into their own communities. You can see that mission at Evangelize.World.

What “plunder hell” actually means

This isn’t bravado. It’s the Gospel in plain words. Jesus “hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son” (Colossians 1:13). Every person who meets Jesus is a rescue — someone carried out of the strong man’s house and brought home.

And heaven pays attention. Jesus said “joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth” (Luke 15:7). One. Not a stadium — one. Every conversation on a street corner, every invitation to a festival, every follow-up coffee is aimed at that one.

The church was never built to play defence. “The gates of hell shall not prevail against it” (Matthew 16:18) — and gates don’t move. Gates are what you storm. The picture is a people on the advance.

🔥
Here’s the honest truth: no one reaches a city alone. Every story of salvation, healing or chains breaking comes through people who prayed, gave and said yes.

How will they hear?

Paul asks the question that turns every believer into a participant: “How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?” (Romans 10:14).

There are three answers, and every one of them includes you.

1. Pray

Jesus didn’t say the harvest was small. He said “The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest” (Matthew 9:37–38). Prayer is the first front of every outreach.

Pray for open hearts, bold believers, transformed cities, and a fresh move of God across Canada. Pray for Daniel, Katie and the teams by name.

2. Go

Isaiah heard the question and answered it: “Here am I; send me” (Isaiah 6:8). Your sending might be across the world. More often, it’s across the street, the office or the dinner table. Start with the people already in your circle — your oikos — and if you’d like help mapping them, Oikos Map is a free place to begin.

If your church or team wants to grow in everyday evangelism, Daniel and Katie train churches to make sharing Jesus a confident lifestyle. You can reach them through KD-Ziedins.com.

3. Give

When the believers in Philippi supported Paul, he wrote something remarkable: “Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account” (Philippians 4:17). Partnership in the Gospel is shared fruit. Every life reached through the work you support is credited to your account in heaven.

Daniel and Katie serve through e3 Canada, and they keep their ministry and lives as lean as possible so that every gift goes as far as it can. Monthly partners receive regular updates on what God is doing — and are prayed for every day.

Jesus described good ground this way: “other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bare fruit an hundredfold” (Luke 8:8). If you have been looking for good ground to sow into, this is an invitation.

Put the mission in your week

Big callings are carried out in small, faithful rhythms. Here is a simple way to make this real in TaskSimply this week:

  1. Write the names. Open a note and list the people God has placed around you. Turn it into a checklist so you can track a call, a coffee or a conversation.
  2. Make prayer recurring. Add a task like “Pray for my names, Daniel & Katie, and e3 outreach” and set it to repeat weekly, so it never depends on remembering.
  3. Use the prayer wall. In Ministry Mode, keep requests in one place and mark them answered when God moves — testimonies are worth keeping.
  4. Review it on Sunday. Fold it into your Weekly Review: who did you reach, who needs a follow-up, and who is God putting on your heart next?

Every tribe, every tongue

The story ends somewhere glorious. John saw it: “a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb” (Revelation 7:9).

That multitude is being gathered right now — one conversation, one outreach, one equipped believer at a time. Heaven is being populated. The strong man is bound. The only question left is the one Isaiah answered.

Here am I. Send me.
